Have a problem you need your team to generate ideas around to solve?

In our changing environments there are problems (and opportunities) all around us.
Problems like:

  • How might we create a WOW experience for our customers or our employees?
  • How might we simplify our systems and processes?
  • How might we connect more effectively with our customers?
  • How might we generate more revenue in our off season?
  • How might we attract and retain talent?

Innovation is a mandate of most companies, but innovation training and practice is typically done in a way that shuts groups down. We put participants in a bland training room, give them a few post it notes and ask them to be creative with the biggest problems we face today. It’s no wonder the same old ideas continue to be recycled and very little action comes from the time spent.

Join seasoned facilitator, award-winning business owner and farmer Cheryl Haskett as she utilizes structured Innovation techniques and the farm as stimulus for idea generation and exploration.

In this hands on working session, participants will:

  • Apply facilitator led innovation techniques to a real problem statement
  • Get out of the boring 4 walls of your office/conference room & clear your mind
  • Bond as a team as you utilize the farm as stimulus for creative idea generation
  • Generate a lot of ideas that will then be filtered down into useable ideas to bring forward and action
  • Shift your top ideas from theoretical to practical
  • Breathe fresh air….

In a half day session we will focus mainly on brainstorming, idea generation, impact and first level action planning.

In a full day session participants will be taking their problem through several stages of Innovation (Identification, Investigation, Ideation, Impact Evaluation and Implementation) using a facilitated process and tools. Participants will work through their problem statement and get to a simple action plan/next steps to take their idea back to their organization.
