Agri-tourism Facility - store & experiences specialist

Full time seasonal
This position may be supported by Canada Summer Jobs Program which is for youth 15-30 years of age.
Duties include providing a 5 star experience to guests from check in through their time with us. Responsible for cash/sales, check ins, keeping store and facility clean and stocked, supporting experiences and potentially delivering experiences for our guests. Must have own transportation to get to the farm, be passionate about creating a great guest experience, be comfortable around animals and able to manage difficult situations. Must be outgoing, able to facilitate information with passion, and be able to work on own or with a team.

Duties include general clean up, grounds maintenance, cleaning, bedding, feeding of animals, general maintenance like painting. Other duties as needed. Must be able to be on feet for long periods of time outside in any weather. Able to problem solve and have attention to detail. Must be calm around animals and able to work both independently and with a team. Job may continue after the summer in a part time capacity.
Position is daytime with full time hours Tues to Sat.

Administration duties including bookkeeping tasks, calling on customers, data entry, organization, research etc. Must have own transportation as this is not a remote position. Skills/experience required: Quickbooks online, excel, word, google docs, internet, excellent phone and email communication skills, organization.

Volunteers do a variety of tasks: Cleaning out barns, feed and watering buckets, bedding, cleaning pasture areas, gardening, weeding, weed whacking, painting, maintenance, animal socialization etc.

Represent our brand through in store sampling of our ice cream and sales/marketing of our ice cream and on farm tourism at events across Southern Ontario. Must have own transportation, be outgoing, passionate, personable, and organized. Mainly weekends from April to October.
