Settle into the serene beauty of our farm and enjoy an award-winning Alpaca Lunch Picnic, where your dining companions aren’t a dog trying to yank your food, but a herd of fluffy, curious alpacas greeting you with gentle charm. Savour a handcrafted selection of Ontario-made cheeses, fresh baguette, artisanal meats, snacks, and drinks, all topped off with a scoop of Udderly Ridiculous goat milk ice cream for dessert. And don’t worry—the alpacas won’t feel left out. You’ll have special feed just for them, so they can snack alongside you.

Dietary Accommodations:
We can accommodate gluten-free, vegetarian, and most food allergies if notified at least 48 hours in advance. Please add any dietary notes to your reservation.
If you require a vegan substitute, please note that an additional charge will apply to help cover the increased cost of vegan options.
Cheese Selection: This picnic predominantly includes goat cheeses, with occasional sheep or water buffalo cheeses. If you require a different dairy option, non-dairy substitute, or follow a specialized diet (such as Keto or Vegan), please contact us before booking to determine if we can accommodate your request. Additional fees apply.
Bringing Decorations? If you are celebrating a special occasion and wish to bring decorations, please contact us first to ensure they are safe for the alpacas and will not frighten them.
Interacting with Alpacas: Your picnic takes place under a gazebo, but you are welcome to step out and interact with the alpacas. Be sure to bring a hat, sunscreen, and comfortable shoes that can handle a little dirt.
Take-Home Treats: Most guests leave with leftovers and/or farm products to enjoy later!
Age Restriction: This experience is strictly for guests aged 16 and up. Please do not book for children, as we will need to cancel your reservation. Nursing infants are permitted.
Respect the Alpacas’ Space: For the well-being of our alpacas, running is not permitted in the enclosure. Please move calmly and respectfully around the animals.
Food & Beverage Policy: Outside food and beverages are not permitted unless there is a specific allergy we cannot accommodate. Guests may not feed the alpacas anything except what is provided, as this is for their health and safety. Alcohol, smoking, and marijuana use are strictly prohibited during the picnic.
Weather Policy: The picnic proceeds in light rain, as the eating area is covered. If heavy rain, strong winds, or thunderstorms occur, your experience will be rescheduled or credited per our policy below.
To create the best experience for both our guests and our animals, we limit the number of participants in each experience. Last-minute cancellations are very difficult to rebook, so we have a fair cancellation policy that we strictly follow:
If we cancel due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a full credit (minus the booking system processing fee).
Cancellations made 5 days or more before your experience are eligible for a full refund, credit, or reschedule (minus the processing fee).
Cancellations made 2–4 days before your experience will receive a 50% refund or 50% credit/reschedule (minus the processing fee).
Cancellations within 48 hours of the experience are non-refundable and cannot be credited or rescheduled.
No-shows will not receive a refund, credit, or reschedule.

My fiancée and I weren’t sure what to expect from the Alpaca Picnic Lunch experience, but it was memorable in the best way. The setting was gorgeous, the food was delicious and filling (and local!), and the alpacas were a treat to interact with. Our facilitator was courteous, clear with the rules and expectations, and provided helpful tips for interacting with the animals.
Udderly Ridiculous boasts a number of other experiences to participate in, as well as a varied animal population to keep you company throughout your stay. A small shop inside allows you to pick up items that you may have already tried if you signed up for the picnic, or you may find something new and interesting for your palate or person.
We strongly recommend this experience if you are able – the drive is worth it.

Had such a great experience. My girlfriend is obsessed with Alpacas. As a date idea, we chose a picnic with Alpaca’s. We received a large amount of organic snacks and food. Took most of it home because we couldn’t finish it all. The alpacas were great as well!

I went with a girlfriend for an alpaca lunch and was happily surprised with every aspect of the experience. We were already excited to be there but everything was above and beyond what we imagined. The alpacas were cute and friendly, getting to see them and be so up close and personal is something I will never forget! Not to mention, the food for two of us was enough to feed at least 4!! We were given 3 full size cheeses, some meat and lots of snacks. Even more impressive, they thought of everything we may need like a place to wash our hands after touching animals, a takeout box for the leftovers and blankets if we got cold. I would highly recommend going!!

Eight of us came for lunch with the alpacas. We had a great time with the girls! They were very sweet and well behaved. We had many different dietary needs, which were met with many options to choose from. Had a quick visit with the goats on our way out.
The staff was very helpful and informative. All of the animals are very well cared for.

I recently had the most incredible lunch experience at Udderly Ridiculous Farm Life, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff’s warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. The lunch itself was absolutely delicious and to top it off, the most delightful ice cream! There were even plenty of leftovers to take home.
But the true highlight was spending time with the alpacas. These gentle, curious animals added a magical touch to the day, making the experience truly unique. The staff’s passion for what they do shines through in every aspect, from the care they give the animals to the quality of the food and the overall experience.
