Taste of Farm Life (Family Friendly) is a hands-on, award-winning adventure where you’ll meet alpacas, feed playful goats, and guide them through fun agility games! Get up close with gentle Highland cows and discover why chickens are basically dinosaurs.

Enjoy engaging stories, hands-on learning, and farm-fresh flavours, all led by Cheryl, whose award-winning journey started right here. And of course, no farm visit is complete without a guided tasting of our famous Udderly Ridiculous goat milk ice cream—fun for all ages!

The farm experience was beyond expectation! We went as a group of all ages, including young children and grand parents. Everyone had fun! The interaction with different animals (They are all very friendly) were great, and we all learnt a lot about animals and life on the farm. The snack platter provided at the end was very tasty.

The “taste of farm life - family friendly” experience was everything we hoped it would be and more. Cheryl was so warm and welcoming, while sharing her knowledge and expertise with us. She was also very patient and sweet with our toddler - a huge win in my books. I also could see and feel how well cared for the animals are. The samples were also delicious! I think my favourite part was meeting the special needs alpaca and the guard llama, and getting my toddler involved in the farm life. He loved collecting the eggs, and the ice cream treat! 10/10, would recommend.

We took our 4 little kids to Udderly Ridiculous this past week and we absolutely loved it! We spent the morning with Cheryl learning about the daily tasks of the farm and all of the animals. We were able to feed the goats, alpacas, highland cows, and chickens - and bottle feed two baby goats! The kids collected the eggs right from the nests in the chicken coup! There was also a llama and my personal favourite - a little baby micro cow that we got to pet! After the tour we ate a spread of delicious local treats and finished with some goat milk ice cream in 5 delicious flavours that was made by Udderly Ridiculous! It was the best time ever and we hope to go back soon! 🙂

Things to know before you book

Dress for the farm – Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty and comfortable, closed-toe shoes for walking on uneven terrain.
Be prepared for the elements – This is a 2 hour outdoor experience, so if you’re sensitive to sun, heat, or long periods of walking, keep that in mind and plan accordingly.
There are certain areas that we cannot take strollers or wheelchairs into for the safety of the people in those (goats may jump up into these and a cow may decide its a toy to throw around). Please be aware of this if you are bringing very young children.
Weather-dependent experience – In the event of extreme weather conditions (heavy rain, thunderstorms, etc.), we may need to reschedule or modify parts of the experience.

Cancellation Policy

To create the best experience for both our guests and our animals, we limit the number of participants in each experience. Last-minute cancellations are very difficult to rebook, so we have a fair cancellation policy that we strictly follow:

If we cancel due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a full credit (minus the booking system processing fee).
Cancellations made 5 days or more before your experience are eligible for a full refund, credit, or reschedule (minus the processing fee).
Cancellations made 2–4 days before your experience will receive a 50% refund or 50% credit/reschedule (minus the processing fee).
Cancellations within 48 hours of the experience are non-refundable and cannot be credited or rescheduled.
No-shows will not receive a refund, credit, or reschedule.

Taste of Farm Life (Family Friendly) is inspired by the Signature Experience recognized by Ontario’s Southwest. While the original version offers a deep dive into farm life, this adapted experience has been carefully designed to be engaging and inclusive for kids and families—without losing its immersive charm.

This version still brings you up close with the animals, shares real farm stories, and offers a true taste of the land through local food and award-winning ice cream. It’s an opportunity for families to experience the best of farm life together in a way that’s both fun and meaningful.
