The Original Private Mini Highland Cow Experience

Meet, feed, brush, and pet fluffy mini Highland cows right here in Ontario

Tiny cows, big love

Say it with us in your best Scottish accent—“hairy coos!”

Get up close with your own private meet-and-greet with our fluffy family of micro and mini Highland cows—Muriel, Rhett, Beatrice, Anthony, Oreo, Cookie, and their full sized Highland friends – Clara, Fiona, Ellie & Toffee! These gentle, affectionate floofs are the sweetest bunch on the farm, and in this award-winning Private Mini Highland Cow Experience, it’s just you, your group, and the cows—no crowds, just quality time with these lovable creatures.

Brush them, hand-feed them, and show them all the love they could ever dream of. And trust us—they LIVE for this level of pampering and aren’t shy about showing it!

Things to know before you book

  • This is a 10+ yrs experience and not recommended for anyone who cannot remain calm around the cattle.
  • Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Strollers and wheelchairs are not recommended.
  • The experience includes walking on uneven ground and is not suitable for those with balance or mobility issues.
  • Some of our cattle you will be meeting with a gate between you and them for your safety – you will get to pet, hand feed, take pictures and get to learn about them. You will get to spend part of your experience time inside the pasture with one or more of our micro & mini cattle Muriel, Cookie & Beatrice to pet, brush and get up close selfies with. We always respect our cattle’s space and needs, if for whatever reason a cow is not feeling like participating we will simply spend more time with the others.
  • You will not be “cuddling” – cattle need to feel complete trust to allow someone to hug or sit with them and we cannot guarantee this will happen for guests.

Cancellation Policy

To create the best experience for both our guests and our animals, we limit the number of participants in each experience. Last-minute cancellations are very difficult to rebook, so we have a fair cancellation policy that we strictly follow:

  • If we cancel due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a full credit (minus the booking system processing fee).

  • Cancellations made 5 days or more before your experience are eligible for a full refund, credit, or reschedule (minus the processing fee).

  • Cancellations made 2–4 days before your experience will receive a 50% refund or 50% credit/reschedule (minus the processing fee).

  • Cancellations within 48 hours of the experience are non-refundable and cannot be credited or rescheduled.

  • No-shows will not receive a refund, credit, or reschedule.

How we keep the "coos" safe and happy

We like to say that we’re overprotective helicopter parents when it comes to our farm beauties. That’s why we only run this experience a few times a week with a small number of guests per session. You must sanitize your shoes on our sanitary foot mat and wash your hands. We’ll teach you how to behave around them and handle them properly, because when you get this right, the bond you can form with them is truly incredible. During their downtime, they live their lives together in the pasture, kicking the hay, mooing, and grooving. We wouldn’t be surprised if they have full-blown discos after hours, just like in Barnyard.
