Ever wondered what it’s like to stand inside a working apiary, surrounded by thousands of honey bees, and feel completely at ease? That’s exactly the kind of magic we deliver.
The Ultimate Honey Bee Encounter is a hands-on adventure that takes you deep into the world of the honey bee — the tiny, tireless creature behind so much of the food on your plate. Led by ecological beekeepers Paul & Indy (from Slurps Terps Apiary) who have a wealth of knowledge & genuinely love what they do. You’ll walk out to our apiary, peer inside a live hive, taste raw honey straight from the comb, and maybe, just maybe, come face to face with the Queen herself.
This isn’t a nature documentary. You’ll suit up in real beekeeping gear, handle a stinger-free drone bee, and get answers to every question you’ve ever had about how bees communicate, build, forage, and defend their extraordinary home. It’s equal parts fascinating, fun, and surprisingly calming.
Perfect for curious kids, nature lovers, first-time bee explorers, and anyone who wants to see the farm and our food system come alive from the inside.

When a reservation is cancelled at the last minute, it becomes difficult to fill that space on short notice, resulting in lost opportunities for both other guests and our small business. This policy allows us to maintain the quality of our experiences while being fair to all visitors.
To help protect our animals, all boots are sanitized in our foam station before entering the farm. Around here we have a simple rule: foam your boots, save a goat.
We give our goats plenty of space, time, and respect. That’s why we only run this experience a few times a week with a limited number of guests in each session. We’ll show you how to approach the kids, interact with them, and how to hold them…because when this is done well, the connection you can build with a baby goat is something pretty special.
When they’re not visiting with guests, our goats spend their days together in their pasture or inside the goat barn handling important goat business: pooping, dancing and playing hopscotch.
