The ultimate farm experience

This award-winning Taste of Farm Life signature experience is the ultimate way to dive into farm life: up close, hands-on, and packed with unforgettable moments.

Spend time with our curious alpacas, feed playful goats, meet our charming Highland cows, and interact with our adorable mini donkeys with big personalities. You’ll even learn why chickens are dinosaurs.

Go beyond the barnyard with insightful stories, immersive learning, and farm-fresh flavours, all guided by Cheryl and her team whose award-winning journey started right here on the farm. There are no dumb questions, in fact they are highly encouraged. Let’s talk food, farming, poop, breeding – whatever comes to mind.

And of course, no farm adventure is complete without a snack & guided tasting of our Udderly Ridiculous goat milk ice cream.

Things to know before you book

Dress for the farm – Wear clothes you don’t mind getting a little dirty and comfortable, closed-toe shoes for walking on uneven terrain.
Be prepared for the elements – This is a 3 hour outdoor experience, so if you’re sensitive to sun, heat, or long periods of walking, keep that in mind and plan accordingly. Bring a hat and sunglasses.
Weather-dependent experience – In the event of extreme weather conditions (heavy rain, thunderstorms, etc.), we may need to reschedule or modify parts of the experience.

Cancellation Policy

To create the best experience for both our guests and our animals, we limit the number of participants in each experience. Last-minute cancellations are very difficult to rebook, so we have a fair cancellation policy that we strictly follow:

If we cancel due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, you will receive a full credit (minus the booking system processing fee).
Cancellations made 5 days or more before your experience are eligible for a full refund, credit, or reschedule (minus the processing fee).
Cancellations made 2–4 days before your experience will receive a 50% refund or 50% credit/reschedule (minus the processing fee).
Cancellations within 48 hours of the experience are non-refundable and cannot be credited or rescheduled.
No-shows will not receive a refund, credit, or reschedule.

Unbelievable experience. Cheryl is so knowledgeable and intelligent… she looks at everything from an ethical lens and follows her instincts to provide a safe and thriving environment for the animals. Cheryl is an absolute pleasure to spend time with - be prepared to be wowed by the experience!

Edit 2023: We went back this year and had yet another amazing experience! The new cows are a great addition and I must say my favourite part was when we got to call the chickens in for their breakfast. This may turn into an annual trip for us. Cheryl and her team were exceptionally welcoming and catered our tour to our preferences. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We got up close and personal with ALL of the animals.such a joy to spend time with them and it’s easy to see how well cared for they are. Ended our tour with a magnificent tasting of the many local treats. Such a great day! We’re already discussing our next visit.

Far exceeded my expectations! We enjoyed the Taste of Farm Life with Cheryl - visited with the goats, fed the goats, watched a goat stampede! - walked alpacas around the beautiful farm property, fed and pet the alpacas - met and fed the chickens, collected eggs, and enjoyed an amazing tasting menu of local delights. I can't say enough how impressed I was with the farm and even more so with Cheryl who was so extremely passionate and generous with her time and knowledge. We learned so much about the animals and farm life. Walked away from this experience with a meaningful appreciation of sustainable farming, a full heart from spending time with the animals, and happy taste buds from all the delicious local fare. And don't miss out on the farm store, which is full of beautiful culinary and other products from Ontario producers, and of course the Udderly Ridiculous goat milk ice cream! An amazing day - highly recommended!

My cousin and I went today and we can not say enough on what a GREAT experience it was. Cheryl is a wealth of knowledge about farming in Ontario and her love for the animals on the farm is very evident. We were able to interact with all of the animals and then sample goat ice cream and cheese. If you have the opportunity to go to the farm, run, don't walk! 🙂
