Innovation on the Farm
Innovation is a mandate of most companies, but innovation training and practice is typically done in a way that shuts groups down. We put participants in a bland training room, give them a few post it notes and ask them to be creative with the biggest problems we face today. It’s no wonder the same old ideas continue to be recycled and very little action comes from the time spent.
A Taste Of Farm Life
What does farm life and corporate life have in common?? When Cheryl Haskett married a farmer and made the big move from Guelph to Oxford County, she quickly realized there was a lot to learn. There was an immediate realization that farm life isn’t the quaint, quiet life portrayed in hollywood. Farm life is an epic learning ground for relationship, resiliency, risk, change, problem solving, innovation and tension! Cheryl has approached every aspect of supporting a farm and running her own agri-tourism facility with humility and yeah, a lot of humour. Now, she’s ready to give you the inside scoop.
